Clouds and chilling air. That's what greeted you once you made your way high into the sky. There was no ground just what seemed like an endless abyss of blue. Truely, the sky was not those for the faint of heart. The Master of the Sky was certainly not one of those pokemon. She flew through the air with a purpose, putting to shame any other flying type pokemon that wished to share her airspace.
The sun glinted off of the light brown feathers of the steel bird. Her wings would flap every so often to keep her going at a constant rate. How fast was she flying? It was hard to say, she didn't keep track of her speed. She just flew however fast her heart felt like taking her. Today it wasn't slow but it definitely wasn't her fastest either. It was comfortably in the middle.
A smile etched its way onto the bird's steel beak. She felt so free and powerful in the air. Nobody could touch her! She was their master, and no vassal should ever touch their master! It was forbidden. True, if they needed her she would come but otherwise, stay out of her way unless she wanted to talk to them first.
A screech sounded from the bird's mouth. A joyful screech was what it was. All of a sudden, she wanted more speed. She flapped her wings faster and accelerated, then she sloped into a dive. Going faster and faster and faster. Her wings were pinned to her sides as she bravely sped towards the ground. Soon, green grass and water came into view. She aimed herself towards the water. Her golden eyes narrowed as she headed towards the river. She knew exactly where she was. Ludor River. She sometimes came to this area for a drink, that would do fine after her dive.
Closer and closer she came to the depths, if she miscalculated it would be the end of her life. However, the Master of the Skies never miscalculated anything! She pulled up steeply and flared her two lightweight steel wings. Slowing herself enough so that she could easily scoop her lethal claws into the water and sail across to the bank.
She landed and screeched, "Screeekah! 'Zeh Mastah of 'zeh Skies has landed!" She flared both of her magnificent green wings and glared around with her eyes. Then, she turned and dipped her head into the river to drink. Her eyelids drooped contentedly as the liquid cooled her parched throat. She hadn't realized how thirsty she was until she actually got water into her body. If there was one thing that she wished the sky had was water you could drink. Then, she would never come down out of the air! Well... except to rest, and eat... but that was another matter! [/size]
